1. Agreement
By installing or using Biolink software, or using this website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use Biolink.
2. What Biolink is
Biolink is self-hosted software you run on your own hardware. It organizes, visualizes, and explains health data that you bring to it. We do not operate the service for you, host your data, or maintain accounts.
3. Not medical advice
Biolink is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. It organizes your own data and prepares questions for clinicians. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional about medical concerns, and seek immediate care in an emergency.
4. Your responsibilities
Because Biolink runs on your hardware, you are responsible for:
- the hardware and operating system your node runs on;
- keeping backups of your data (the software provides one-command backup and restore);
- securing your home network and any remote access you choose to enable;
- complying with the terms of third-party services you connect (wearable providers, AI endpoints).
5. License and ownership
Biolink Health grants you a personal, non-transferable license to run the software for your own use. All rights in the software, brand, and this website remain with Biolink Health. Your data is yours — we claim no rights in it, and we couldn't reach it if we wanted to.
6. Acceptable use
Don't use Biolink to violate the law, to process another person's health data without their consent, or to redistribute the software in violation of its license.
7. Disclaimers
The software is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Biolink Health is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the software, including data loss — please keep backups.
8. Changes
We may update these terms; the date above reflects the latest version. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
